The Tribal Climate Health Project (TCHP) is pleased to invite tribal-serving climate practitioners across the U.S. for a unique online discussion (April 2 | 10AM PST / 1PM ET) with David Hayes, Special Assistant to President Biden for Climate Policy.
This event is co-hosted by the American Society of Adaptation Professionals, the Tribal Climate Health Project, and the Local Government Commission, which represent and serve large networks of climate practitioners and experts across the country working on the ground to protect local and Tribal communities from the impacts of climate change.
In addition to playing a key role in Biden’s Climate Team, Mr. Hayes has an extensive background in State and local climate matters. He has graciously offered to take this time to talk with us about:
- How the new administration will roll out President Biden’s climate mitigation and adaptation and environmental justice plans
- How Tribal, local and other community stakeholders can prepare for, influence, or support what is to come
- Ongoing ways to collaborate with the federal government on policy initiatives and best practices
If you are pushing to move forward faster on climate action in your neck of the woods, we think this conversation will certainly be worth your time.
Spaces are limited so register as soon as possible.
